About Us

Producer/Director team and brothers, Sunandan and Yugesh Walia set up Endboard Productions in 1985 in order to share their passion for story telling with as wide an audience as possible. Supported by a talented and motivated production staff the company has produced documentaries from different parts of the world including India, Korea, Laos, United States, Mexico, Brazil and Poland for most of the broadcast strands on British television. Their more recent productions have followed unfolding narratives over a long period and allowed the stories to reach their own climatic resolutions.

Over the past three years, Sunandan and Yugesh have started to pursue another long cherished goal: to develop and produce fiction projects and bring distinctive dramas to the screen. Their ambition is to work with the best, but also to nurture new talent.

The brothers play an active role in the film and media life of the midlands. Sunandan is Chair of the Lighthouse Media Centre in Wolverhampton and has been a judge on the RTS Midlands Awards panel.

Yugesh has, in the past, sat on the Board of the Birmingham International Film & Television Festival. He has also sat on the advisory panels of The Arts Council of Great Britain and West Midlands Arts. He is a recipient of the ‘City of Birmingham Award’ for his contribution to the cultural life of the city.
